Hailing from Taiwan, Heng-Han Hou is a highly sought-after violinist known for his intuitive musicality and captivating performances. Recent solo appearances include Bartók’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with the Kindred Spirits Orchestra in Toronto. He also participated in the Intercultural String Exchange, presenting concerts exploring Arabic, Afro-Cuban, and Métis musical traditions. Dedicated to education, Heng-Han has held teaching assistantships at the University of Toronto and coached at programs including Toronto Summer Music, the Lake George Music Festival (U.S.), and the Regina Summer Strings.

He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts in violin performance from the University of Toronto in 2022 under Jonathan Crow. Since 2020, he has held the Principal Second Violin position with the Regina Symphony Orchestra.
